Shabbat at Brandeis depends on you and the generosity of our supporters. Hillel funds and serves 6,000 Shabbat meals each year - at no cost to students. Only a small portion of Shabbat dinner costs come from the university. Hillel raises the majority of its budget each year. Help us reach our goal to fund 613 tables and make Shabbat awesome for our students.
Can you help us get to our goal of 305 tables sponsored by December 31, 2023?
If we hit that goal on time, an additional 100 tables will be generously sponsored by the Meyer G. and Ellen Goodstein Koplow Foundation.

Please consider sponsoring a table at a Shabbat dinner in honor of a student, an alum, a wedding anniversary or a birthday or in memory of the yahrzeit of a loved one. We’ll share the occasion with our students during Shabbat dinner.
Hillel provides Shabbat dinner each week of the academic year. All are welcome at our Shabbat tables – no questions asked. Hillel also provides meals for Rosh Hashanah, a Yom Kippur Break-Fast, Sukkot, Purim and other occasions.
