Brandeis Orthodox Organization

The Brandeis Orthodox Organization serves the Orthodox community of Brandeis University. As one of the most vibrant observant communities on any college campus, BOO exists to fulfill and further the religious, social, and cultural needs of the Orthodox Jewish population at Brandeis University and is dedicated to the principles of Torah-Halakhic Judaism. BOO offers social events, educational events, daily minyanim, Shabbat and holiday davening, learning programs, chesed opportunities, and a multitude of ways to get involved in the community! BOO's members are among the most visible participants in general campus life and are valued contributors to the Student Union, the arts, the printed media, athletics, and Hillel, among other endeavors. The relatively small size of the University (around 3,400 undergraduates) engenders many opportunities for fusing religious growth with a genuine commitment to the broader campus community.

"I love BOO! BOO was my home at Brandeis. The community created an environment where I could grow religiously and socially, and I am eternally grateful for that."
