Justin Sherman has been involved in the Israel world since before he finished his undergraduate degree. He grew up in Metro Detroit and studied Near Eastern Studies, Global Studies, and Special Education at Wayne State University. While at Wayne, Justin was active in his local Hillel and started teaching students about Israel. After graduating, he joined the Helene G Simon Hillel Foundation at Indiana University as the Israel Program Director, focusing on Israel education and non-traditional learning. Since then, Justin has continued working in special education and now also serves as Regional Advisor and travel staff for Hasbara Fellowships’ Israel Missions for college students.

Justin earned a Graduate Certificate in Israel Education from George Washington University and is currently studying in the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership program at Brandeis University, where he is working toward a Master of Education. He lives in Somerville with his partner, Rachel, and their dog, Hugo.
