Join our Family Circle
Hillel’s Family Circle is a community of dedicated parents and family members who support Brandeis Hillel and Jewish life in a number of ways: by connecting with incoming parents, informing Hillel staff about the parent experience, serving as ambassadors to the wider Brandeis community by sharing their experiences, and generously contributing financially to support Jewish life.
The Family Circle plays a vital role in providing a warm Jewish community for all students at Brandeis.
Circles of Giving
Brandeis Hillel is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We raise the majority of our annual budget each year.
Most donors process donations through the University. 100% of your gift will go to Hillel and you'll receive credit from the University for your contribution. If you’d prefer to make your donation directly to Hillel, please email us.
VISIONARIES
$2,500 ($208/MONTH)
Sponsor a student’s participation in the Jewish Learning Fellowship or one of our other weekly Torah learning opportunities in small groups or 1-1 with a Hillel rabbi. Gives you access to an annual fireside chat with Hillel Executive Director Rabbi Seth Winberg.
INNOVATORS
$1,250 ($104/MONTH)
Bring the warmth of Shabbat dinner to 36 students. We host Shabbat dinner and lunch weekly so students can recharge. Gives you access to an annual fireside chat with Hillel Executive Director Rabbi Seth Winberg.
LEADERS
$540 ($45/MONTH)
Connect a new student to the Jewish community by sending them on our First Year Pre-Orientation Retreat — a Shabbat on campus before orientation carefully curated and led by Hillel Upperclassman Guides (HUGs) to help our newest community members feel at home the moment they step on campus.
SUSTAINERS
$360 ($30/MONTH)
Support social, cultural, service, and other offerings so that young adults are proud to be Jewish and leave college with a strong Jewish social network.
CREATORS
$5,000 ($417/MONTH)
Provides funds for student creativity for programming with guidance from rabbis and professionals. Gives you membership in Brandeis University’s Parent Leadership Council and includes an annual luncheon with University President Arthur Levine, as well as an annual fireside chat with Hillel Executive Director Rabbi Seth Winberg.
CONNECTORS
$180 ($15/MONTH)
Your gift means a student leader or staff member can meet a new student each month, providing the next generation with a trusted mentor (and a cup of tea or coffee).
