Hillel’s Family Circle is the best way to support Jewish life at Brandeis throughout the year.

At Hillel students forge new friendships, meet dedicated mentors, celebrate the Jewish calendar, engage in service to others, and are inspired by Jewish texts and traditions. Whether it is our Community Dinners on Friday night, services, Shabbat lunch, social events, Torah learning, a trip to Israel, or one of the more than 25 groups and clubs ranging from Manginah to Challah for Hunger, the Brandeis Orthodox Organization, the Reform Chavurah or Masorti—we’re guiding and mentoring the next generation.

The Family Circle plays a vital role in providing a warm Jewish community for all students at Brandeis.

Brandeis Hillel is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We raise the majority of our annual budget each year.

Most donors process donations through the University. 100% of your gift will go to Hillel and you'll receive credit from the University for your contribution. If you’d prefer to make your donation directly to Hillel, please email us.

VISIONARIES
$2,500 ($208/MONTH)

Bring the warmth of Shabbat dinner to 150 students. We host Shabbat dinner and lunch weekly so students can recharge.

INNOVATORS
$1,800 ($150/MONTH)

Sponsor a student’s participation in the Jewish Learning Fellowship or one of our other weekly Torah learning opportunities in small groups or 1-1 with a Hillel rabbi.

LEADERS
$540 ($45/MONTH)

Connect a new student to the Jewish community by sending them on our First Year Retreat — a Shabbat off-campus by a lake with a bonfire, s’mores, singing and learning.

SUSTAINERS
$360 ($30/MONTH)

Support social, cultural, service, and other offerings so that young adults are proud to be Jewish and leave college with a strong Jewish social network.

CREATORS
$5,000 ($417/MONTH)

Provides funds for student creativity for programming with guidance from rabbis and professionals. Gives you membership in Brandeis University’s Parent Leadership Council and includes an annual luncheon with University President Ron Liebowitz.

CONNECTORS
$180  ($15/MONTH)

Your gift means a student leader or staff member can meet a new student each month, providing the next generation with a trusted mentor (and a cup of tea or coffee).
