Aviva is a student at the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College. She is grateful to accompany Brandeis students this year as they develop their prayer practice, engage deeply with Torah, and work through life's difficult questions in relationship with Jewish tradition. Aviva’s delight in the ancient yet relevant wisdom that our Jewish tradition offers us is what motivates her work. She is here to support students at Brandeis as they take their place in this ancient conversation and share their own wisdom, building relationships with each other and their ancestors. Before rabbinical school, Aviva worked as a faith-based community organizer at the Essex County Community Organization. She has served in Jewish educational, ritual, and leadership roles at Temple Reyim, Genesis at Brandeis, Mayyim Hayyim Community Mikveh, and the Jewish Learning Collaborative.
